3. How long does a typical construction project take?

A mid-size project of 1,000-5,000 square meters will typically take 6-9 months. A large construction project of 6,000-12,000 square meters with high-end details can take 9-12 months. Projects over 12,000- square meters are typically highly specialized and can easily exceed 12-18 months.

4. How do you charge for projects?

We charge our clients a total value per project by pricing the BOQ (bill of quantities), a listing by a trade of specific construction components that make up the entire project.

The Bill Of Quantities (BOQ) quantifies the element of the building type, such as linear meters of low voltage cables or kilograms of metal ducts. The BOQ might be provided by an independent party as part of the tender documents or developed in-house by our technical team.

Once the quantity of the item is known, a unit price to cover material, labor, and equipment is applied to develop the cost of each line item or component. The total project is a summation of all the individual line items.

The majority of the contracts are either re-measured type or Lump sum type. A variable quantity/Value and fixed rates define the re-measured agreement. A fixed value and fixed quantities represent the Lump sum agreement.
